Privacy Policy

ItemPrism is a product comparison and referral service. We compare offers from third-party merchants; we do not currently sell products, process checkout, receive payment-card details, fulfill orders, or handle merchant returns.

When you create a Want It alert, we collect the email address, search text, interface language, maximum price, acceptable conditions, status, and timestamps needed to save and operate that alert.

• Language preference stored in your browser.
• Basic request and device information used for security and troubleshooting.
• A one-way daily hash derived from network and browser signals for rate limiting and click measurement; the raw IP address is not stored in the ItemPrism database for those purposes.
• Outbound merchant clicks, including the offer, merchant, language, destination host, source placement, and time.

We use information to operate the comparison service, save and match alerts, prevent abuse, measure merchant referrals, maintain security, diagnose errors, and improve relevance. We do not sell your email address or payment information.

Netlify hosts the website and Supabase provides database and serverless infrastructure. Product and pricing data may come from merchants and approved APIs. When you deliberately open a merchant offer, you leave ItemPrism and the merchant's privacy policy, cookies, tracking, checkout, delivery, and return terms apply.

Some merchant links may contain affiliate identifiers. ItemPrism may receive a commission if you complete a qualifying purchase. The merchant or affiliate network may use cookies or similar technologies after your click to attribute the transaction. ItemPrism does not receive your full payment-card number from the merchant.

We retain active alerts while they are needed to provide the service, and security and click records for a reasonable period. You may ask us to access, correct, pause, unsubscribe, or delete information associated with your email by contacting privacy@itemprism.com. We may retain limited records when required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.

ItemPrism is not directed to children under 13. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can promise absolute security. We may update this policy as the product and integrations evolve; the effective date will be revised when changes are material.
