Where product and offer data comes from.

ItemPrism is designed to ingest product and offer data from approved retailer APIs, affiliate-network catalogs, authorized merchant feeds, and direct seller feeds. Each source is configured separately and remains inactive until the applicable credentials or approval are available.

ItemPrism currently receives authorized product-catalog data and commissionable merchant links from Tech For Less through CJ Affiliate. The integration is refreshed automatically and covers new and refurbished computers, electronics, components, accessories, and related products.

ItemPrism also receives an authorized Awin product feed from Simple Project, covering bathroom, plumbing, fixtures, and related home-improvement products. The feed is refreshed automatically; unavailable offers are excluded from active comparisons and can return when the source reports them in stock again.

LOOMY Home is connected through an authorized Awin feed for rugs, pillows, textiles, and home-decor products. Only currently available offers are shown in active comparisons, while unavailable feed records remain excluded until the merchant reports them in stock again.

Fosi Audio is connected through an authorized Awin feed for amplifiers, DACs, preamplifiers, headphone audio, power supplies, and related home-audio products. Prices, availability, images, and commissionable destination links are refreshed through the approved feed.

Additional retailer and affiliate sources are shown as live only after the applicable program approves ItemPrism and the feed, tracking links, product identity, condition mapping, and refresh behavior pass review.

Offers include a last-checked time and may have an expiration time based on the source's refresh cadence. Prices and availability can still change between checks, so the merchant page remains the final source for checkout terms.

When a source reports that an item is unavailable, or an offer is no longer refreshed within its allowed window, the offer should be removed from active comparisons.

Merchant product images and descriptions are used only when permitted by the relevant API, feed, or partner agreement. ItemPrism may also use original illustrations or editorial descriptions. Source-provided details can remain in the original listing language when translating them would risk changing a technical claim.

During the early prototype stage, illustrative listings are clearly labeled as demo data and do not link to merchants as if they were live inventory. Demo records are replaced by authorized live offers as source integrations are approved and tested.
